Beadles streamlines efficiency with Managed Print Services

Beadles Group, an automotive dealer group in the South-East of England, represents Kia, Land Rover, Nissan, Skoda, Toyota, Vauxhall and Volkswagen from eleven Motor Retail locations across the South East, employing over 400 staff. Like many organisations the company relied on a growing collection of old and expensive to run printers/fax machines copiers and scanners. Platinum were instructed to perform a comprehensive print survey so that the Beadles Management could make accurate decisions about the new fleet. Armed with this information Beadles was able to establish the cost savings that could be achieved with new printers and digital Multifunction devices (MFD’s).

After testing the solution with a pilot program in three dealerships, Platinum rolled out the Managed Print Solution to all 11 locations. The whole project took around six months to complete and 55 state-of-the-art MFD’s and printers were installed.

By condensing the printer fleet down to only three different models, supporting the new devices across the group has been simplified. This strategy has allowed printers to be installed faster and information to be shared across all sites meaning reduced training and change for Beadles employees. There have been many other improvements for the staff as they can now scan documents quickly and printing times have reduced. Beadles customers will also benefit from colour vehicle health check reports and high quality brochures.
