Platinum have just completed the rollout of a substantial new MPLS WAN for Cambria Automobiles plc, an automotive dealer group based in Swindon. Comprising of 30 sites, plus MPLS & internet links into a London Datacentre, the new WAN offers significant improvements in speed and bandwidth over their previous WAN.
Platinum have installed a mixture of LES & EFM circuits into all of the sites, with bandwidth requirements for each site being the primary factor. Whilst LES is a fibre based product and EFM is copper, both technologies offer ethernet services, with low latency, synchronous bandwidth. The network is carrying data and voice traffic with primary applications being the Ebbon Dacs Dealer Management System, internet & email. The network is fully managed 24x7 from Platinum Connect's NOC providing pro-active incident management, customer visibility of the network status in real time via our portal and a full suite of reports.
